Good Monday morning!
In science this week we are finishing studying about birds and moving on to mammals. We will be having a test after we finish mammals – sometime next week. Look for more information to come!
In social studies we have begun studying the Vikings – the terror of the seas! As we move on into learning about early explorers, we will be discussing Marco Polo and the Silk Road to China.
Our Veterans Day assembly is this Friday at 9:30. If you have a veteran that you would like to invite, the forms are due by tomorrow, Tuesday, November 8.
Our annual Thanksgiving food drive starts tomorrow and goes until November 15. The Red Team is asked to bring canned soups and meats. The food baskets stay local, so if you have a suggestion for a family that is need of a food basket for Thanksgiving, please let us know.
DARE begins this Wednesday for Red Team. Our Wednesday schedule will be a little different for the next few weeks with graduation at the end. More information will be following.
Friday is an early out day – dismissal at 12:30 for students.
