Good morning!
In science we have been learning about measurement tools and are starting our study of matter. We will be learning about properties of matter, phases of matter, and the way matter changes state this next week. Our matter test will be on Tuesday, December 20, using the Smart Response system with the “clickers” again. There will also be a small paper/pencil portion.
In social studies we have finished Chapter 3 and are having our first Explorers test this next Wednesday, December 14. You should have seen a test note come home to be signed if your child is interested in receiving a few bonus points toward their social studies grade.
As we wind down this semester, please make note that the students are dismissed on Wednesday, December 21, at 12:30. Teachers will be staying to finalize grades before the holidays, and grade cards will go home after we come back in January.
